About DEVA
DEVA (Diseño y Equipamiento de Almacenes, Spanish for Warehouse Design and Equipment) is a Mexican intralogistics engineering company that designs, equips, automates and optimizes warehouses and distribution centers under a turnkey model.
The team that makes up DEVA has over 30 years of experience and over 100 projects in material handling solutions.
The first step is a free assessment with no obligation, before any quote.
Storage systems
Selective racking is the most versatile, thanks to its direct, individual access to every pallet (100% selectivity), and it is ideal for many SKUs.
High-density block storage systems (drive-in, push-back, pallet flow, pallet shuttle and racking on mobile bases) store the most, and among automated systems, AS/RS and shuttles do.
FIFO means first in, first out (perishables, high turnover). LIFO means last in, first out (non-perishable products).
Yes, you can, with high-density systems, mezzanines/platform floors and storage at great height.
Long materials are stored on cantilever racking, with cantilevered arms and an open design.
Automation and robotics
An AS/RS is an automated storage and retrieval system that stores and retrieves loads without manual intervention, making the most of the available height.
A sorter is an automatic sortation system that distributes parcels to different destinations at high speed and with high accuracy.
An AGV follows fixed routes (wire-guided/laser-guided); an AMR navigates autonomously and adapts to its environment.
Yes; several operate reliably down to -30 °C (SRM stacker cranes work from -30 °C to +55 °C).
Robotic palletizing is the automation of the pick-up, orientation and placement of product on the pallet at the end of the line.
Software
A WMS is the warehouse management system: the "operational brain" that manages processes and inventory in real time.
The WMS plans and manages; the WES executes and coordinates tasks in real time; the WCS directly controls the automation equipment.
Pick-to-Light is a light-directed picking system that indicates the exact location and quantity, speeding up order picking and reducing errors.
Services
Yes; for DEVA, delivery is the beginning of the relationship, with ongoing maintenance and support.
Yes; many systems can be dismantled and reused, and DEVA manages the dismantling and the reinstallation.
