Warehouse automation
Automating does not mean replacing the whole operation at once. It means identifying where repetitive manual work is costing you time, money or safety, and solving that point with the right technology. At DEVA we integrate automated systems for storage, palletizing, truck loading and material transport, with the option to scale in stages.
-
AS/RS for Pallets
An AS/RS (Automated Storage and Retrieval System) for pallets fully automates the storage and retrieval of palletized loads, making the most of the available height, reducing manual intervention and improving inventory accuracy.
-
AS/RS for Cases & Miniload
AS/RS systems for cases automate the storage and retrieval of totes, trays and cases, designed for operations with high flows of goods. At DEVA, we integrate two complementary solutions: Miniload with a stacker crane and a case shuttle.
-
SRM Stacker Cranes
SRM stacker cranes are the equipment that brings automated warehouses to life: they enable the automated storage of unit loads of virtually any size and weight, making the most of the available volume in both existing buildings and clad-rack structures.
-
Four-Way Shuttle System
The four-way shuttle system is a smart storage solution in which the carts travel in all directions and can change direction at any point in the racking, enabling the cooperative operation of multiple shuttles on the same level with smart dispatching and route planning.
-
Robotic Palletizers
Industrial robotic palletizers are end-of-line systems that fully automate the pick-up, orientation and placement of products on the pallet, forming stable loads ready for shipping or storage. They are designed to increase throughput, improve safety and solve labor shortages in production plants.
-
Automatic Truck Loading Systems
Automatic truck loading systems (ATLS) transfer the load all at once ("one-shot") to unmodified trucks, trailers and containers, drastically reducing internal maneuvers, dock times, damage and incidents. At DEVA, we integrate a complete range to meet every operational need.
-
Telescopic Conveyors
Extendable telescopic conveyors consist of a fixed base and extendable sections designed to reach inside trailers, containers and vans more safely, quickly and cost-effectively. Thanks to their range of lengths and their belt or roller options, they let you load and unload products and parcels of different sizes more efficiently, reducing the time each operation takes and improving dock performance.
-
Garment-on-Hanger Rail System
The garment-on-hanger rail system transports and stores garments hanging on their hangers, sliding them along a rail instead of folding them or packing them in boxes. It is the technology the textile industry uses to move large volumes of garments without wrinkling them, from the production line to shipping. At DEVA, we implement it in both its manual and its automated version, depending on the volume and budget of each operation.

Automatic sortation
Sortation has its own family of technologies: cross-belt, shoe sorter, narrow belt, pop-up wheel, AMR and pre-sorting.
Automate in stages
Not every operation is ready for an end-to-end project, and not every one needs it. Several of these technologies let you start with a limited investment and scale later: the pallet shuttle can evolve into an automated warehouse, and AMR sortation grows by adding robots. The starting point is always the same: analyzing where the real bottleneck is.
Frequently asked questions
- What can be automated in a warehouse?
- Storage and retrieval (AS/RS), end-of-line palletizing, truck loading and unloading, internal material transport and order sortation.
- Can you automate in stages?
- Yes. Several technologies (pallet shuttle, AMR sortation, loading systems) let you start with a limited investment and scale as the operation grows.
- Does automation work in cold rooms?
- Yes. Stacker cranes operate from -30 °C to +55 °C, and there are cold-storage versions of the shuttle systems and of the AS/RS for cases.
