AS/RS for cases and Miniload: high-throughput automated storage
AS/RS systems for cases automate the storage and retrieval of totes, trays and cases, designed for operations with high flows of goods. At DEVA, we integrate two complementary solutions: Miniload with a stacker crane and a case shuttle.
Miniload with stacker crane: a stacker crane for cases and trays in single- and double-deep racking
The Miniload with stacker crane is an automated warehouse for totes and trays in which a stacker crane travels along a central aisle flanked by racking, retrieves the unit loads and takes them to automated zones, bringing the product to the worker for picking ("goods-to-person" model) and returning it to the system at maximum speed.
Transport of units of up to 100 kg while keeping cycles fast.
Flexible handling: trays and cardboard or plastic boxes in a range of sizes and heights.
Energy savings: energy regeneration during braking and lowering.
Quiet operation, simple design and easy maintenance.
Can also be installed in low-temperature environments.
Case shuttle: high density for e-commerce
The case shuttle is a high-performance solution for the automated handling and storage of cardboard and plastic boxes, designed specifically for distribution centers and e-commerce operations with high volumes and turnover.
Ultra-fast recharging with supercapacitors (no batteries), with a lightweight, robust structure.
Telescopic forks with adjustable spacing for different case sizes and greater density.
Wireless operation and low maintenance requirements, reliable even down to -30 °C.
- up to 100 kg Load per unit (Miniload) Transport of units of up to 100 kg while keeping cycles fast.
- down to -30 °C Cold operation (case shuttle)
Benefits · Impact on your operation
Maximum case storage density, fast cycles, a goods-to-person model that speeds up picking, and reliable operation even in cold environments.
Ideal applications
E-commerce and omnichannel with high case turnover, intensive picking operations and warehouses that need density in a case/tray format.
Frequently asked questions
- What is the difference between the Miniload and the case shuttle?
- The Miniload uses a stacker crane in a central aisle for cases and trays (up to 100 kg); the case shuttle is a fleet of robots with supercapacitors and telescopic forks, optimized for high-turnover e-commerce.
- Does the case AS/RS work in cold environments?
- Yes. The Miniload can be installed in low-temperature environments, and the case shuttle operates reliably down to -30 °C.
