Pop-up wheel sorter: flexible medium- to high-capacity sorting

The pop-up wheel is a retractable-wheel diverter: groups of motorized wheels that rise and swivel at an angle to divert or merge product without damaging it. It is the ideal solution for operations looking for medium- to high-capacity sortation with a relatively low investment and simple integration.

How does a pop-up wheel work?

The wheels stay hidden below the conveyor line. When an item needs to be diverted, the wheel group rises and swivels at an angle, pushing the product onto the outfeed conveyor. Once it is done, the wheels drop back down and the line resumes its normal flow.
